Inspired by analogue video feedback techniques I wanted to achieve a similar output with digital tools, which made it easier to capture the processed image and opened up more processing possibilities by adding video effects from MaxMSP and Resolume to the signal path. The outcome was a much more colorful and detailed than the analogue equivalent approach based on a setup with a CRT monitor, camera and video mixer. Also I could work with a higher resolution, only limited by the processing power of my computer.
